What Do I Need To Get My Florida Driving Permit?
Before you can receive a restricted driver’s license (learner’s permit) in the state of Florida, you must successfully complete this online course.

If you have never held a regular driver license in any state within the United States, you must complete the Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course prior to applying for a temporary restricted driver's permit or license in the state of Florida. Drivers who have never held, or do not have in their possession, a driver license from another Country or Jurisdiction, also must complete a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course before applying for a license in Florida.
