This 8 Hour Aggressive Driver course is a Court Ordered Program, referred to you by your Court, or have been ordered by a Florida Judge to complete an 8-Hour Driver Improvement class. (Point Removal)

Students are required to take this course when ordered by the courts as part of a sentencing judgment, this course is for the individual who has:
  • Received Citations for Street or Drag Racing
  • Court Ordered as part of a sentencing judgment
  • Multiple speeding violations in a short period of time
  • Multiple traffic offenses where the driver shows signs of aggressive driving
  • Pre-trial requirement, probation officer and/or judge enter into a pre-trial diversion
The 8 Hour Aggressive Course is intended for drivers who have been ordered by a judge to attend because they exhibit signs of aggressive driving behavior, such as: accumulating an excessive number of citations, driving with excessive speed.

How do I qualify for an 8-hour driving school course?
If you have not elected to attend driving school five (5) times in a lifetime, but you have attended a 4-hour driving school course during the past 12 months, you are eligible for an 8-hour driving school course. This option is not available if you have a commercial driver license, or have been charged with exceeding the speed limit by more than 30 MPH.

Taking the Course
Read the online course material, watch the online short videos, and complete an exam based on the course material.

Upon successful completion, you will be able to print your certificate of course completion immediately. The cost includes the entire program and the certificate — NO HIDDEN FEES. If you do not pass, you will be able to retake our program immediately at no additional charge. You must score 80 percent or higher on the final exam before you receive your Certificate of Completion.

When the 8-Hour Driver Aggressive Improvement is successfully completed, the Completion Certificate will be e-mailed immediately and available for download from your account. All completions are automatically reported to and electronically filed with the Clerk of the Court. We encourage students to complete the course within 4-5 business days prior to the court due date to have enough time for the completions to be filed.

Note: If you have been court ordered directly by a Judge or Magistrate to attend a driver improvement school, you should notify the court once you have completed the course and follow any necessary steps they instruct. The Clerk's Office will provide you with any additional submission requirements.

Q: Can I start the course, then stop and later startup again?
  • Yes, you can start, stop and then restart each topic, but not the final exam.
  • Each course topic can be restarted either at the beginning or at the place where you left off.
  • The system will keep track of your progress and will know where to start if you desire to pick up where you left off.
  • The final exam, if stopped in the middle, will restart you at the beginning of an entirely new exam.
Q: When can I take the final exam?
  • You can take the final exam after completing the coursework.
Q: How do I know if I passed the final exam?
  • Upon completion of the final exam you will see your score.
  • 80% correct is required to pass.
  • You may retake the final exam as many times as you would like until you pass.
Q: Can I retake the final exam if I did not pass, and is there a limit to the number of times I can retake it?
  • There is no limit on the number of times you can retake the exam
Q: If I want, can you have my Certificate of Course completion printed and mailed to me through regular mail?
  • Yes, but there is an additional $7.50 mailing and handling fee

Q: How do I get started?
  • When registering please make sure that all information is correct. The Florida Educational Driving School is not responsible for incorrect information. A $5 fee will be charged if we have to reissue a new certificate with the corrected information. Example: Citation or Case number, County Issued, Name and Driver License etc.
